to visit our Temple Archives and be handed a folder that contains your family tree, a questionnaire completed by your great grandparent in his or her own hand, and a letter written to you years before you were born!

WE do not now have that opportunity, BUT we CAN leave this gift for those who come after us!

The success of this project depends on YOU.  We are striving for 100% participation from our Temple Family.

Yes, it involves some work on your part.

But think about what it will mean to that great-grandchild of yours in 50 years!

The Concept...

How many of us can even NAME our eight great-grandparents?

You see, that is the problem.  After about three generations we are forgotten. Our descendants three generations from now may, if we are fortunate, know our names.  But what will they KNOW about us?

The Project...

It is our sincere wish that every Congregant will leave a file in our Temple Archives for future generations.  Included in that file will be...

•    a Family Tree listing YOUR ancestors
  
•    a Questionnaire that you will complete describing your life
  
•    an Ethical Will- a love letter to your descendants
  
•    Photographs of your family

If you do not wish to include all of these items in your file, that is fine.  Do only as much work as you want.  This project is for you and your grandchildren.
